From my personal experience I have seen a lot of NFT projects rugged because the founders were unprofessional. I have worked with numerous NFT projects and I have seen members complain about the floor price of their NFTs hoping to hear from the founders. Founders enter the group chat and tell them, “you can sell and leave.” Unprofessional. As a collab manager or moderator I frown at such words. I’m left with the task of calming the room. I will send a direct message to the message and most times I won’t get a response and that’s where I realize some founders are actually after the money, they don’t care about the community and rugging is bound. Mismanagement of funds is a real thing but some founders don’t know how to communicate (maybe they are not sincere enough). Unfortunately, most moderators like I tend to write an announcement to calm the situation but there is nothing like a founder’s words as written in the material. As a moderator or a community manager, can we then measure the level of patience to the crisis at hand? I don’t know if I can pray for something that’s bound to happen all because the founder is unprofessional
