1. I got to know someone through a community, and we ended up moderating together. He’s always a bit pessimistic, but he’s consistent and always speaks up for what’s best for the community. He creates these amazing events that really help the community grow thanks to his insights. I became interested in him for one specific reason his public speaking is incredible and he’s so knowledgeable. He really keeps all the moderators moving forward. Even if there are a few people who don't like his way of doing things, I honestly love how confident he is from start to finish
2. Yes, I've been there, mostly because I was just too busy. But I always try to balance things and keep my ego in check. Sometimes, when things get crazy busy, I might be slow to respond to others. This is just my way of keeping the community vibe friendly and making sure everything runs smoothly without any drama. At the end of the day, I always make sure to balance my ego and my attitude
3. Right now, I have an inherent authority simply because I represent the project and I'm part of the team. Many community members instantly trust or respect what I say, even though I haven't truly earned that trust through my own actions yet.
My plan is to turn that initial trust into real authority by being consistently present, genuinely helping community members, keeping small promises, and providing clear and honest information. I want people to respect me not because of my title or the team label I wear, but because of their experience interacting with me over time
