I've read everything and I understand the concept of Strategic Silence. What I learned is that being a Community Manager doesn't always mean answering every question immediately. Sometimes, the best way to build a strong community is by giving members the opportunity to help each other first. This creates trust, encourages participation, and develops future community leaders. One thing that stood out to me is that our role is not to be the answer for everything, but to make sure the answer happens. Over time, this approach can make the community more independent and resilient, even when the CM is not present.
1. A few people should already understand it by now. But if you ask a question like that, usually someone else who gets the system will step up and answer the remaining questions. Either that, or I can step in directly and answer everything myself
2. In my opinion, being consistent in answering questions with quick responses is the hardest part. After all, we also need to rest, eat, drink, and relax we don't have to be glued to the desktop. Honestly, this is the toughest thing to do, especially when it feels like being on call 24/7
3. A member asked how to access a specific feature in the project. I waited for a few minutes before responding, and another community member answered correctly. The conversation continued naturally, and my help was no longer needed. This showed me that community members are often willing and able to help each other when given the opportunity. (in IOPN)
